§d§l The Pink Castle Affair §l§l§l§8Shlemmynem's Pink Castle was a longstanding, somewhat plain build. It stood for so long that the road it was on was named after it and it's exact time of creation cannot be reliably pinpointed in historical

§8records. Many citizens of New Danzilona, however, had long lamented the castle's existence due to its vivid colour and plain design. With Weishaar's creation of Danzmarket in May 2014, however, desires to have the castle

§8removed were intensified as the trade district grew. What was once a source of contention on the outskirts of town had now been thrusted into the newly-formed heartland of New Danzilona.

§8On 30 June 2014, Axwin and King Wingnut of DPNCCR dismantled the south-facing outer wall of Shlemmy's fort. Though he convinced King Wingnut that the demolition was sanctioned under NDZ Dereliction Laws, Axwin did not, in fact, have the authority to

§8destroy Shlemmynem's Pink Castle as it was personal property of an active citizen who vocally retained the right of the existence of the Castle. After Axwin and King Wingnut took down the front of the build, Shlemmynem took out the rest of the

§8§8castle out of frustration, leaving behind a cavernous pit. As the government was slow to react to the griefing, Shlemmy took compensation as offered by the griefers, which was barely above the material value of the

§8Castle itself. Vocal protests by other citizens of the Danzilonan Federation led by iPrizefighter and GabeKnight pushed the City Manager of the Day, Grenadeninja, to commence an investigation into what judicial powers the city must have

§8enshrined with to be able to protect the innocent as well as be capable to forcefully defend the rule fo law. At the same time, GabeKnight took the lead in codifying a Bill of Rights for New Danzilonans based upon the intention of ensuring personal

§8freedom and security. What powers the City or Federation may take in order to fulfill their mandate remains to be seen. What is certain, however, is that the Pink Castle Affair has become an critical case study into NDZ and the Rule of Law.
