################### Brewcastle is a monastery hidden away in the wilderness that houses the Order of Brewcastle Monks. Brewcastle Monks live their lives devoted to two things; books and beer. These are the commandments of our order.

################### Brewcastle is designed to best accomodate the needs of a brewer and a bookkeeper, with terraced farms cut into the mountainside with water flowing down onto the crops.
A typical day in a monk's life might
Page 9 of 12 include gathering ingredients for potions, fishing in the nearby river for Pufferfish, or even venturing to the nearby towns where they are welcome to use their farms and gather more rare ingredients.
Monks rarely mine, instead relying on
Page 10 of 12 trade and commerce to get valuable ores and gems. They carry their potions around at all times in case they should meet someone on the rails, and when this happens they are required by the Order to offer that person a free potion.
However that does
Page 11 of 12 not mean the Order is one of pure charity. Brewcastle still sells potions for iron and diamonds in bulk orders around the world, although the end goal is not to make a profit but rather break even in most cases. The monks work so that their brews
