Civcraft: Day 2

The moon still shone above me when I left the safety of the building/farm. I could no longer wait with nothing to do. I wondered if someone would one day return to where I just left. Not far from the building I discovered trees planted in a

patch. I was happy to finally find some for I could now build and survive on my own if need be. I cut down two and took with me some saplings. With a new-found map of the world, I began heading North-East where it hinted at civilization. The first

sign of it was a massive wall. After crossing the empty plains, I arrived at a structure bigger than I had ever expected to exist. It was stone and extended for quite some distance. After walking along it for a short time, I found a whole in it

which I could slip through. Behind the wall I found a farm of pumpkins, many ready to be harvested. I looked around, but there was no one. I ignored the pumpkins and continued walking through the farms. There were more plots, the building fit

many. On the other side was the other wall, but more importantly there were potatoes. Finally, I could eat. After eating a few, I replanted for either the owners or the next starved man to come across them. I wandered around the farm for a while,

trying to find the way back out. Eventually, I found it but fell in pain in doing so. No matter, with food I can heal. I traveled past another enclosed farm, this one looked mostly harvested. Further on my trail I found my forest natural forest,

a jungle. I felt it was best to just walk through on my quest rather than explore for now. I could come back to harvest the wood another time. I found a small path at the end of the forest and followed it. I began to hear what sounded like the

voices of others talking. The next thing I found was another wall. Bigger then even the last, it extended all along the horizon. I had arrived at the gates of the Common- wealth.
