DEF/k/ON USER MANUAL§0 §0 §0DEFKON is a system that is intended to assist in emergency situations. The current level of DEFKON is characterized by the color of wool on the /k/ompound flag pole. This material is to be considered confidential, as to prevent other

people from altering or changing the DEFKON level. The DEFKON Level Indicator (DLI) is to be adjusted by whomever is closest to the flag pole. The DEFKON level is to be changed by whomever the acting Head of State is at the time of the issue (i.e. Vice

President if the President is offline)§0 §0by saying the new level into the /k/ group chat. The DEFKON levels are as follows:§0 §0 §0DEFKON 4: This is the lowest threat level. It is considered nominal. It is symbolized by GREEN wool. There are no special rules for

this threat level.§0 §0 §0DEFKON 3: A heightened state of awareness. at this level tensions are usually tight or threats have been issues by other nations. It is symbolized by YELLOW wool. There are no special rules for this threat level.

DEFKON 2: This level is reached when an unknown individual has entered /k/ territory and/or tripped a /k/ owned snitch. It is the closest level to conflict without having contact. It is characterized by RED wool. It is subject to POSSIBLE ATTACK and CLEAR

COMMS rule.§0 §0 §0DEFKON 1: This is the second-most severe of the DEFKON levels. It is reached when there has been contact with an enemy on /k/ soil. It is characterized by WHITE wool. It is subject to SEARCH AND DESTROY protocol and CLEAR COMMS rule.

DEFKON 0: This is the most severe. It is characterized by a severe breach of /k/ompound walls. This level is only reached when a significant threat the /k/ompound has breached our last line of defense. It is symbolized by BLACK wool. It is subject to the

HIDE AND SEEK protocol SEVERE LIQUIDATION protocol and CLEAR COMMS rule.§0 §0 §0===================§0 §0 §0RULES AND PROTOCOLS§0 §0 §0POSSIBLE ATTACK: There may be an attack on /k/ompound ground. All able-bodied individuals

within /kountry/s territory are to return to the /k/ompound, move all of their items to the appropriate chest, and gear up for conflict.§0 §0 §0CLEAR COMMS: This is used to better help direct those involved with defense of the /k/ompound. /k/ group chat is to

be used exclusively, and only may be used to share important information, give orders, or relay directions. When this rule is in play, the acting Head of State is to appoint a "KOMMSMAN" which will stay at the /k/ompound and monitor the snitch network to

relay coordinates and better direct the strike party.§0 §0 §0SEARCH AND DESTROY: This rule is in play when hostile presence has been confirmed in /kountry/ territory, Appoximately one-half of those at the /k/ompound are to form a strike party to go hunt the

assailant as the rest stay and defend. There is to be appointed a strike party leader who will be guided to the enemies position by the KOMMSMAN. It is imperitive that a significant portion of people stay at the /k/ompound to defend it if the enemy gets

close.§0 §0 §0HIDE AND SEEK: This is in play when a significant attack on the /k/ompound has proven succesful. It is effectively a "guerilla warfare" mode. All of those who are able to fight will become independent and act on their own to damage the

enemy. (i.e. heading to the enemy town to start fires) When this rule is enacted the /k/ompound is to be considered unsavable and all must be done to avenge it.§0 §0 §0SEVERE LIQUIDATION: This is when you are to scuttle all of what you can (hide or destroy

valuables) and render the attack unproffitable. It is done to hurt the (now victorious) attacker as much as possible. This is only done in the most severe circumstances.§0 §0

The rules put forward in this book are intended to make the /k/ompound and all who are in it the most condicive fighting force possible. They are intended to be followed to the letter (except for any misspellings) but may be adjusted as necessary.
