Page 1 of 19 A history of the French Family, Book 2
Page 2 of 19 I left the status of the French Family in the last book in a state of anxiety. At that time, tensions against the feline population in breslau were reaching an alltime high. Threats were being made against the patriarch, Steve French I, and attempts made
Page 3 of 19 on the life of his descendents. These tensions came to a boiling point when an unknown assailant brutally murdered one of the nameless kinsmen of the French Family. This injustice was too much to bear for the fledgling family, and so they fled.
Page 4 of 19 Thanks to the charity of ad2345 and Kawww, The family found a new home in the eastern, rural part of Breslau. They constructed a daycare center for kitties of all kind, The Kittyland Day-Care center. The next era of the French Dynasty began in this very
Page 6 of 19 However disconnected from the hate the cats were, they still faced internal troubles. Looking back, animosity between the senior members of the family was starting to brew. It was even openly contemplated that the family divide into seperate clans and
Page 7 of 19 spread the French bloodline throughout the map. With the strong hand of Steve French; however, the family stayed together.
The daycare still stands in East Breslau today, and while it no longer houses the Royal Family, it serves
Page 8 of 19 as a historical site. There are even talks of converting it into a monument to celebrate the memory of the first cat in Breslau.
Page 9 of 19 During their stay at the daycare center, the French family grew exponentially. The inbreeding and crossing of bloodlines only strengthened the resolve of the family, uniting them under a common cause. It is through this that they started to accomodate the
Page 10 of 19 possibility of usurping the throne. This threat was recognized and taken seriously by members of the Prussian Parliament, for they left nothing to chance.
Page 11 of 19 While at the Kittyland Daycare center, the family rested on its laurels, and this would be their downfall.
It was a brisk sunday morning, with dew resting on the clovers of the countryside of East Prussia. The family awoke from their dream filled
Page 12 of 19 slumbers to the sounds of chirping birds as they stretched to ready for the day. Something was amiss; however, but they did not notice until it was too late.
Inside the master pen of the daycare center stood one terrorist, armed with explosives,
Page 13 of 19 ready to bomb the daycare center and take out Steve French I. What followed was a remarkably tense negotiation and extraction period that ultimately ended with Steve French losing his life to a creeper.
Page 14 of 19 Mourners marched throughout the street remembering the glory of their fallen leader, who did not make it to the throne before his untimely demise. The family was thrown into a crisis to determine who would lead the family through this struggle, and after
Page 15 of 19 much deliberation, decided one of the highborn sons of the head feline, Steve French II. Steve French II's pragmatism and rapid response is what prevented the family from being torn asunder by the evil forces that lie in the grass of Breslau.
Page 16 of 19 He was; however, not just a ruthless leader, but a life long patron to the arts. His commissioned works dot all over Breslau, and include the Steve French Memorial Lodge, where the family moved soonafter the succession crisis, and where they remain today.
Page 17 of 19 Steve French II died at a ripe old age of Muster, and his legacy will be remembered throughout the ages as the beginning of a new era in the family.
After Steve French II's death, his son, Steve the Glutton became patriarch. While his name evokes a
Page 18 of 19 certain image of excess, it is the product of gross exaggeration by the anti-french propaganda machine, and he wasn't as fat as his name implies. Nonetheless, he is remembered for very little, except for the fact that he came before Steve French
Page 19 of 19 IV, current head of the Family.
