Page 2 of 23 INTRODUCTION
After the HCF war, the denizens of this world continue to perish and suffer hardship. In times such as this, with mixed celebration and anguish, it comforts the souls of man that the omnipotent God yet remains. This is a Catholic prayer book
Page 3 of 23 for the average Augustan, so that Augustans might turn towards the Lord during this Lenten season. The prayers will be in Latin as well as English. The structure will be: The sign of the cross, the Our Father, Hail Mary, the Doxology (Glory Be), and the

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. By the sign of the cross deliver us from our enemies, you who are our God. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Introduction
God Himself has taught us how to pray. With the Lord Jesus Christ, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
Page 8 of 23 on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Page 9 of 23 Pater noster, qui es in caelis: sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum; fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie; et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris; et ne nos

INTRODUCTION
Prayer to saints is often a confusing subject to heretics, and so it need not be confused with idol worship. We do not worship the Mother of God, but we do venerate her.
Page 12 of 23 The structure of the prayer, as with all prayers to the saints, is to acknowledge who they are, then petition for their prayers. In the Ave Maria, we quote scripture for the first stanza, recognize her in the first line of the second stanza, and then
Page 13 of 23 petition the Mother of God for prayers to our God.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at
Page 14 of 23 the hour of our death. Amen.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum; benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, IESUS.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis
Page 15 of 23 nostrae, Amen.
THE DOXOLOGY
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Page 16 of 23 Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio
et nunc et semper et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
Page 17 of 23 HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Page 18 of 23 Turn then, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy
Page 19 of 23 of the promises of Christ.
Page 20 of 23 SALVE REGINA
Salve, Regina, mater misericordiae; vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra, salve. Ad te clamamus, exsules filii Evae. Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes in hac lacrimarum valle. Eia ergo, advocata nostra, illos tuos misericordes
Page 21 of 23 oculos ad nos converte. Et Iesum, benedictum fructum ventris tui, nobis post hoc exsilium ostende. O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria.
Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genetrix. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
Amen.
