This was supposed to be a full history of Prussia on the server, from inception of the 4th Reich to the foundation of Danzig. Unfortunately I'm losing internet access and won't be able to finish it as such.

It is not proper to describe Civcraft's Prussian nation without first mentioning the website from which it draws much cultural influence. In _dbb_'s own words: "/int/ is the biggest board on Krautchan, the
Page 5 of 19 (very small) German equivalent of 4chan. It has its own memes and is home of trolls, depressed people, and shitheads from anywhere on the globe." [r/Civcraft thread "Give me Freedom!" 21 July 2012]
§r /int/ began as /uk/, created in an act of
Page 6 of 19 German generosity to British chan posters who were displaced
when their own imageboard site broke. All posters recieved country-id flags next to their every post.
§r And then the Russians came. Before too long, their own exotic chan culture seamlessly
Page 7 of 19 blended into the discourse of the site. Over time, Brazilians, Finns, Poles, Americans (or United Statesians, as Latin-American posters may insist on calling them) and many many others have invaded and influenced the board in the same manner, creating a
Page 8 of 19 very dynamic & heavily syncretic internet imageboard culture.
§r "/int/ - Pure Love" is the board's motto. Countless hordes of trolls have assaulted the board since day 1, and along with the huge diversity of posters has come a huge diversity of
Page 9 of 19 trolling methods all of which the board's culture is now steeled against. Baby's first power-troll: Nazis and Nazi imagery, is a far gone joke of the board in this tradition.
§r Thanks in part to the lighthearted Brazilian soul and the outlandish comedic
Page 10 of 19 parodies of Finns, /int/ takes all trolls in stride. However, /int/ also forgets the offensive power that many topics which have become tired comedic fodder on the board (various forms of racism in particular) still hold irl and on the rest of the web.
Page 11 of 19 It is from this site that the grand majority of Prussian citizens come. Prussians listen with very practiced ears, remain stead-
fastly loyal to those with good intentions, and above all they
try their best to have fun on the internet.

§R
A Swedish poster made a thread on /int/, bringing to light a minecraft server which promised politics, war, and wealth. Even more interesing: it was run by redditors.
Page 13 of 19 Three traditions of /int/ fostered a great interest in this project, in an /int/-populated server on Civcraft.
§r Firstly, /int/ loves geopolitics. By its nature as a board defined by international interactions, geopolitics is a
Page 14 of 19 common and much-
obsessed topic.
§r Secondly, /int/ loves to play video-
games. A Bernd (the
German rough equivalent of "Anon" or "Anonymous") has lots of fun doing things with other Bernds all the while speaking in his strange internet
Page 15 of 19 English dialect.
§r Thirdly, /int/ already has a history of playing minecraft together.
§r The Krautchan server, still alive though in one of its momentary depopulated phases, is a playground of fantastic architecture and interesting
Page 16 of 19 characters.
§r I could go on to describe the history of all the politics on
§othat§r server, but the subject warrants more time than I have to describe it. The largest town to ever have been built there, Kurwa, is nothing short of a jewel of
Page 17 of 19 architectural prowess and political accomplishement. For months dozens and dozens of players flooded into the place, and there managed to be established a well- resepcted tradition of building nice things in an orderly manner with planned streets
Page 18 of 19 and almost no griefing whatsoever.
§r I am sorry that I couldn't provide a true full picture of
/int/ minecrafters and what they mean for Civcraft, but I hope that my words have given the reader a good enough introduction.
Page 19 of 19 Sort of an abrupt end, eh?
